Meet Dr. Daniel Ormeni

Board Certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon

Daniel Ormeni, is a Board-Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who grew up in Washington State. He graduated from the University of Washington with a double major in Environmental Engineering and Chemistry. He then earned his Doctorate in Dental Medicine from A.T. Still University, Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health, graduating with honors in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and receiving awards from the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain. During dental school, he also obtained a Master’s in Public Health.

Dr. Ormeni continued his specialty training by completing a one-year internship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, TX. He then completed the remainder of his training at Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport, LA—a broad-scope oral surgery program where he trained alongside highly respected, world-renowned oral surgeons, including Dr. G.E. Ghali.

Dr. Ormeni has published multiple articles in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery and is an active member of local, state, and national professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the American College of Oral Surgeons.

He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS)—a prestigious distinction earned by only about 3% of oral surgeons in the United States. This honor recognizes his exceptional surgical skill, commitment to the highest ethical standards, and dedication to delivering the highest level of patient care.

Throughout his career, Dr. Ormeni has remained focused on patient-centered care. He values developing long-term relationships with his patients and understands the fear and anxiety that can be associated with surgery and anesthesia. His professional interests include dentoalveolar and implant surgery, in-office anesthesia, craniofacial trauma, head and neck pathology, orthognathic surgery, and TMJ surgery.

Outside of work, Dr. Ormeni enjoys spending time with his wife, Ardita—whom he met in dental school—and their two children, Luna and Leo. He loves the outdoors, including hiking, camping, fishing, and hunting, and is fluent in Albanian and Italian.
